I would like to show you another app I am working on: Geo Adventures, a geography guessing game for iPhone and iPad.
You arrive somewhere in a Street View scene, look around for clues and put a pin on the map where you think you are. The closer your guess, the more points you get.
This is a preview of the iOS app. Its App Store launch is still being prepared, so I am sharing what is in the current build rather than announcing that it is available to download today.
Start with what you can see
A road sign, the language on a shop, the landscape or a building can all help you make a guess.
You do not have to know the answer immediately. Look around, make a first guess and use the result to see how close you got. Sometimes the interesting part is finding out why a place looked familiar, even when you put your pin on the wrong continent.

A quick game, or a closer look
Classic mode has four rounds and three difficulty choices: Easy, Medium and Hard. Each round can award up to 5,000 points.
You can also play by country if you want to spend more time recognising places in one part of the world.
The round timer can be off, one minute or three minutes. Leaving it off is useful when you want to take your time with the scene instead of rushing to beat the clock.

See where you ended up
After a guess, the result map shows your pin and the actual location. You can see the distance between them and the points for the round.
That is the part I want to keep clear: you should be able to understand the result and carry something into your next guess.
What comes next
There are Daily and Multiplayer modes in the build too. I will share more about those in a separate post while I finish preparing the app for release.
If you would like to suggest a place or tell me what you enjoy in a geography game, please send me a message.
Thank you for reading ❤️
