Each round is worth up to 5000 points. Your score depends on the distance between your pin and the actual location: a perfect pin scores the full 5000, and points fall off as your guess drifts. A game has 5 rounds, so a flawless game is 25000 points.

Easy features famous landmarks and recognizable places. Medium mixes in cities and towns from all over the world. Hard is the full "random road in the middle of nowhere" experience, where every road sign and tree becomes a precious clue. Higher difficulties are the fastest way to feel humble.

No. You can play the whole game as a guest, and your profile and scores stay on your device. Signing in (with Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In) is optional: it saves your nickname, avatar, and best scores to our server so they survive reinstalls, sync across your devices, and can appear on the leaderboards.

In the app, go to Profile > Delete account. That removes your profile and scores from our server right away. If you prefer, you can also ask us through the contact form below and we will delete everything for you.

If you are signed in to Game Center on your device, your best scores are posted automatically to the global leaderboards (one per difficulty). You can compare with friends or the whole world. If you are not signed in, the game still works; your scores just stay on your device.

Partly, yes. A curated set of locations ships inside the app, so those rounds work without a connection. Live Street View panoramas are streamed from Google servers and need internet, and leaderboard submissions sync the next time you are online.

The game is currently free during the launch period. If paid content is added later, there will be a "Restore Purchases" button in the game settings that re-checks your App Store account. Purchases are always tied to your Apple ID, not to the device, so reinstalling never loses them.

Geo Guesser runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS 16 or later. If your device can run iOS 16, it can run the game comfortably.

The game is localized into 10 languages, including English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese (Simplified and Traditional). It follows your device language automatically.

Locations come from a mix of hand-curated spots (interesting, fair, and fun to figure out) and vetted Street View coverage across the world. We filter out broken panoramas and spots that are impossible to reason about, so a bad round is a skill issue, not a data issue. Mostly.

Very little. The game uses Bugsnag for crash reporting and basic analytics, Game Center for leaderboards, and Google servers to load Street View imagery. There are no ads and no data brokers. The full details are in the privacy policy.
